PJ Piling Contracts Ltd, in Ireland, have added two Movax excavator mounted piling tools to their inventory.
The first was a Movax DH-15 hydraulic double-acting impact hammer which has been mounted on a Doosan DX225. These hammers can also be piling rig mounted, crane suspended or mounted on the new Movax multi-tool piling leader. PJ Piling Contracts were very happy with their new purchase, so much so they ordered a new Movax SG-45V side grip to mount on the same excavator. This has been delivered this week and allows PJ Piling Contracts to tackle any difficult soils in a cost efficient way for the customer. The two attachments can be changed swiftly and the Movax control system recognises which attachment has been added. This means if the SG-45V comes up against difficult ground conditions it takes no more than 10 minutes to disconnect that and connect the DH-15 and the job is underway again!
